Trump offers White House press secretary job to UFC chief Dana White
US President Donald Trump said Saturday on Truth Social that he has offered the White House press secretary job to Dana White, the longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship executive who has been UFC president since 2001 and CEO since 2023. Trump described White as “the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior,” and urged him to take the post, writing “Dana, please take the job!” He also asked White to bring assistants, including some from outside the United States.
The press secretary’s office is vacant. Katie Zacharia left on October 16, less than a week after her appointment, following a troubled first briefing. DW News reports the White House still has no press secretary. White has not been reported as having accepted. The story is developing.
