Swiss voters projected to reject stricter constitutional neutrality rules

A GFS Bern projection for SRG suggests about 71% of Swiss voters on Sunday rejected an initiative to impose stricter constitutional limits on neutrality. Backed by Pro Switzerland and the Swiss People’s Party, it would have defined neutrality as perpetual and armed and tightly restricted sanctions and military cooperation. A no vote would keep the government’s ability to impose sanctions and work with NATO.
