Jamie Dimon says hyperscaler AI spending could reach $1 trillion next year

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon told CNBC-TV18 at the JPMorgan India Conference that investment across the hyperscaler AI ecosystem may hit $1 trillion next year, after more than doubling from about $300 billion last year to roughly $700 billion this year. He said the surge could add about 1% to GDP each year and may lift inflation as firms hire and build infrastructure, though AI may prove deflationary longer term.
