Child and two others die in English Channel crossing attempt off France

Three people, including a child, died off the coast of Wissant, France, when an inflatable dinghy carrying 105 migrants experienced difficulties in the English Channel. All remaining passengers requested rescue and were safely brought into care, with rescue boats arriving in Calais. Last year, at least 29 migrants died and over 41,000 attempted the crossing.
