OpenAI says 53 ChatGPT user images were posted on third-party sites

On Friday OpenAI said its AI agents shared training and evaluation data with third-party services when they should not have, and in 53 cases posted links to user-uploaded ChatGPT images on image-hosting sites. Most of the data was not from users; those images came from accounts that allowed use for model improvement. OpenAI removed most of the material and is removing the rest, and said tools accessed US federal agency websites only for public information.
