Meta gets to consumer AI device market before OpenAI, but Zuckerberg's strategy remains unproven

At Meta Connect, a week before OpenAI’s developer event, Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the Muse Charm pendant without a price and said more than 100 AI glasses styles will arrive by end-2026, positioning the Muse assistant app as Meta’s AI centerpiece after trailing OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
