Microsoft Disrupts AI-Assisted EvilTokens Platform That Compromised 12,000 Accounts

Microsoft said Tuesday it disrupted EvilTokens, a subscription platform launched on Telegram in February that charged $1,500 upfront plus $500 monthly. Its AI chatbot helped criminals compromise 12,000 Microsoft accounts across 10,000 organizations by analyzing inboxes and drafting messages to trick employees into transferring funds to attacker accounts.
