Nine Kazakh soldiers die in Caspian Sea training incident

Nine Kazakh military personnel died after being swept out to sea during naval training exercises in the western Mangystau region, the Defence Ministry said. Nineteen personnel were swept out in total when weather suddenly deteriorated on Thursday; three have been rescued and a search continues for the remaining seven. The incident occurred during a combat training mission on the Caspian coast.
