Russian Attacks on Kyiv Region Kill Four and Damage Power Grid

Overnight Russian missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed at least four people, including a child, Ukrainian officials said on Wednesday. The attacks targeted energy infrastructure, disrupting electricity supplies; energy company DTEK said power was restored to about 8,000 households. President Zelenskyy said critical infrastructure was also hit in the Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad and Rivne regions. Russia's Defence Ministry said the strikes targeted facilities it claimed were linked to Ukrainian military production.
