Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Kaia Gerber Remember Presley Gerber
Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Kaia Gerber have shared a tribute to Presley Gerber, their son and brother, who died in September aged 27. In a message posted on Crawford’s Instagram, the family described him as a “sweet, beautiful soul” and said they were proud of the kindness and vulnerability he showed. They also thanked friends and strangers for their support while asking for privacy.
According to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records, Gerber died at a rehabilitation facility; a cause of death was not immediately known. He had spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health and addiction. In November 2024, he began an Instagram series called “Mental Health Mondays,” intended to encourage candid discussion of experiences people often conceal.
The son of supermodel Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber began modeling at 15. After signing with IMG Models, he appeared in a Calvin Klein campaign, walked for Moschino and featured in a Pepsi advertisement with his mother. Kaia Gerber had recently discussed how her brother’s addiction affected their family, telling Vogue that it “levels everyone.” She said she was proud of his willingness to be open about his difficulties and viewed his public honesty as a lesson in treating vulnerability without shame.
