Kiteworks urges customers to shut down their servers amid imminent cyberattack threat

Kiteworks, a file-transfer company formerly known as Accellion, told customers to shut down their systems after law enforcement warned of a credible threat that hackers could target customer Kiteworks installations as soon as this weekend. CISO Frank Balonis said the advisory is precautionary and the company is not aware of any compromise.
