Zelenskyy urges sustained pressure on Putin at UN, citing war toll

At the UN General Assembly, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy blamed Vladimir Putin alone for Russia’s war, called him “patient zero” and urged leaders to keep choking Moscow’s revenues. He said Russia lost 248,000 soldiers in eight months while capturing just over 1,000 square kilometres this year, and warned of intensified bombing ahead.
