Foie gras, live dolphins and toasters: China and US cut reciprocal tariffs on $30bn of goods

The United States and China have published reciprocal lists of goods worth approximately $30 billion each to reduce tariffs, following a summit in Washington between Presidents Xi Jinping and Donald Trump. The proposed cuts cover 77 categories of US goods and 1,619 categories of Chinese products, ranging from consumer electronics to agricultural items and live animals, though major strategic goods and a timeline are excluded.
