US deports 32 convicted migrants to Eswatini under secret Trump deal

Over a year, four planes carried 32 migrants previously convicted in US courts to Eswatini under a secret Trump administration deportation deal. Imprisoned in Africa's last absolute monarchy, they face suspicion from local residents. On July 18, 2025, more than 100 women protested at the US embassy in Manzini, demanding the prisoners be sent back.
