Tool for tracking AI-integrated malware finds autonomous command system

Cisco Talos researchers released an open-source framework called CAIRN on Monday to identify and classify malware built with AI components. Using it, they uncovered CLOSEDQUORUM, hacking software whose command-and-control runs without humans, polling up to four large language models for what to do next and following their collective directives.
