Three in four UK GPs too busy to talk to their patients in depth

Three in four UK GPs say they are too busy to have in-depth conversations with their patients, according to research by the doctors' professional body. Most family doctors no longer have time for pastoral discussions about patients' lives and wellbeing because they are preoccupied with the country's rising tide of illness, including no time to discuss preventative measures.
