Chinese authorities reportedly in possession of F-35 components in Hong Kong

Chinese authorities are reportedly holding F-35 stealth fighter parts after a UPS shipment of a cockpit canopy and weapons bay door from Australia to the US was inexplicably diverted to Hong Kong in late May, Bloomberg reported. Both parts used radar-absorbing stealth material; Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles said Canberra is assisting a US and Lockheed Martin investigation.
