South African police seek suspects after mass shootings kill 27

Police are searching for suspects after gunmen killed 17 people and wounded 15 at a bar west of Johannesburg on Saturday at about 9:30 p.m.; attackers reportedly used AK-47 rifles and pistols, searched patrons, took cellphones and fled in two vehicles. All 17 died at the scene and the motive is unknown. A separate shooting in Cape Town left 10 dead.
