Meta's Muse AI agent gets video avatars, email addresses, and Mac control

At Meta Connect 2026, Meta upgraded its AI agent Muse, which now supports real-time video chats with customizable avatars, has its own email addresses, and can control Mac apps; it will also run on Meta's smart glasses to turn conversations into actions. Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the Muse Charm, a Tamagotchi-like device with a 2-inch display, 5G, and its own operating system, expected to ship by December, though CTO Andrew Bosworth said it is an exploration, not the core of Meta's hardware strategy. Meta also launched Ray-Ban Meta Audio Glasses without a camera starting at 349 euros, a third-generation Ray-Ban Meta from 449 euros, and VR glasses priced at $1,299 for spring 2027.
