Iran submits seven-day roadmap to end war and awaits US response

Iran has submitted a seven-day roadmap to end its war with the United States and awaits Washington's response, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told reporters outside the UN Security Council on Friday. The plan was conveyed through Qatar and would start once the US accepts: four to five days of initial steps, the Strait of Hormuz reopens on day six, and nuclear talks begin on day seven. Washington would lift its naval blockade, waive sanctions on Iranian oil sales, release about $12 billion in frozen assets and observe a regional ceasefire including Lebanon and Yemen; Iran would reopen the strait.
