Typhoon Dujuan killed at least two people as it swept through the Tokyo region with 144 km/h winds, triggering landslides that killed a woman in her 60s in Yokosuka and another person in Chiba; four remained missing. Almost 50,000 households near Tokyo lacked power on Tuesday, JAL cancelled 135 flights and ANA 140, and over 1.6 million residents were urged to evacuate before warnings were downgraded as the storm moved away.
