Study suggests drones could deliver defibrillators faster in out-of-hospital cardiac arrests

New research suggests drones could reduce the time it takes to get a defibrillator to someone having a cardiac arrest outside hospital. In the UK alone, emergency medical services attempt resuscitation in more than 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests each year, according to the British Heart Foundation, and fewer than one in ten of those people survive.
