Unknown projectile strikes tanker entering Strait of Hormuz, injuring two crew

The UK Maritime Trade Operations Centre said Monday an unknown projectile struck a tanker entering the Strait of Hormuz, injuring two crew members. The vessel continues to its next port under its own power with no environmental impact reported. Tehran has asserted control over much of the strait since US and Israel operations began on February 28, and traffic remains far below the roughly 20 million barrels per day that normally transit the waterway.
