Switzerland votes Sunday on stricter neutrality initiative

Swiss voters decide a Pro Schweiz initiative, linked to the hard-right SVP, to tighten how neutrality is applied after the government drew closer to the EU and NATO since Russia’s war in Ukraine. An SBC poll this month found 63% plan to vote against and 34% for; nearly all major parties reject it, with only the SVP in favour.
