Much of Trump’s promised midterm spending has yet to surface, FEC filing shows

Donald Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC ended August with $415.8 million in cash, up from $403.5 million, after raising $23.7 million and spending $11.4 million. Donors included the Winklevoss twins ($10 million), NASA chief Jared Isaacman ($2 million), and Phillip Sarofim ($1 million). On Sept. 4 Trump said he would deploy $400–500 million for Republican midterms, but FEC filings show only a fraction spent so far, including about $15 million in the Texas Senate race.
