Rapid brain tumour test cuts NHS diagnosis from eight weeks to two hours

NHS England is piloting a genomic brain tumour test developed by the University of Nottingham's Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence that can diagnose patients in about two hours while they remain on the operating table, cutting waits from up to eight weeks. The rollout begins at five specialist centres before wider use.
