AI risks and the Iran war set to dominate the UN leaders' gathering

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is due to address the General Assembly for the first time since US and Israeli strikes in late February; Tehran blocked the Strait of Hormuz, pushing up oil prices, and Washington has not reached a deal to end the conflict.
