Russia launches overnight missile and drone barrage on Kyiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia

Russia fired 157 drones plus ballistic and cruise missiles overnight; Ukraine's air defenses downed or neutralized 131, but strikes hit 36 locations. In Kyiv, at least 18 people were injured, including a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, with damage across more than 10 sites. In Zaporizhzhia, three people, including a child, were hurt and a residential building was damaged; Odesa was also targeted. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the attack coincided with the US Congress passing Lindsey Graham's Russia sanctions bill, 262-159, now heading to President Donald Trump.
