Sony and Universal Music Group sue Suno again over v6 model laundering

Sony and Universal Music Group filed another lawsuit against Suno, alleging its new v6 AI music model still infringes their copyrights because it was trained on outputs from earlier models built on unlicensed music from YouTube and other sources. The labels, who never signed a Suno licensing deal, accuse the company of “model laundering.”
