Greek PM says Parthenon marbles deal possible but rejects British Museum ownership terms

Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told the Guardian a deal to return the Parthenon marbles remains possible with “political will and courage”, but Greece will not accept any arrangement recognising British Museum ownership or a Bayeux tapestry-style loan, as British Museum director Nicholas Cullinan had suggested.
