Hospitals in England hit by shortages of key drugs like aspirin and co-codamol

Dozens of NHS trusts in England have faced shortages of essential medicines including aspirin, co-codamol, and ramipril, according to freedom of information data obtained by University College London expert Dr Rodolfo Catena. Between last December and March, 62% of responding trusts experienced aspirin supply disruptions, while pharmacists warn the crisis leaves patients without medication for weeks.
