NATO's top general says alliance is ready for a potential Russian false flag attack

NATO military committee chair Adm. Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said Saturday that the alliance, its troops and weapons are ready to respond to a possible Russian escalation on Europe's eastern flank, speaking after a meeting of NATO's 32 top generals in Copenhagen. On Thursday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned Moscow could send drones or missiles into a frontline NATO country within months as a staged provocation, a risk echoed by France and the Netherlands. The warnings come amid rising airspace violations and sabotage attempts, and after U.S. intelligence reported in August that Moscow was planning a limited attack on a NATO country.
