White House blocks MS NOW journalists and confiscates badges after Trump ban extends to CNN and Politico

The White House began enforcing President Donald Trump's ban on MS NOW, CNN and Politico on Saturday. MS NOW journalists were denied access to the grounds and had their press badges confiscated; White House correspondent Akayla Gardner said her badge scan failed and an officer told her it had been disabled. An MS NOW photographer was also turned away and lost his badge, though a producer reportedly got in. MS NOW said it will "take any and all steps necessary" to defend its First Amendment rights.
