Bitget revises breach impact to $388 million, $35 million above prior estimate

Bitget said Friday that about $388 million in assets were affected by Thursday's security breach, up from an earlier $352 million estimate after adding Zcash and TRON transfers missed initially. On-chain tracing found $387.5 million sent to attacker addresses on EVM networks, the XRP Ledger, Zcash and TRON, including XRP, ETH, USDT and ZEC. Withdrawals stay paused and a bounty seeks recovery; Bitget said the incident is contained with no further unauthorized transfers possible.
