Oil falls as Asia set for highest crude imports since Iran war began

Oil prices fell Thursday as traders weighed a Reuters report that Asia will import 23.96 million barrels of crude per day in September, the highest since the US-Iran war began and up from 23.38 million in August. Brent November futures slipped 0.52% to $102.54 and WTI 0.34% to $91.85. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian blamed the US and Israel for global instability in a UNGA speech.
