Britain will send RAF Typhoon fighters on defensive missions over Saudi cities and critical infrastructure to intercept Houthi missiles and drones, the largest military operation signed off by Prime Minister Andy Burnham. It follows strikes on Saudi airports and oil facilities, including a missile hit on King Khalid airport in Riyadh that killed 13 people this month; 19 have died in Saudi Arabia in the war. The UK will also provide an Atlas A400M, military advisers, and existing RAF Voyager air-to-air refuelling for Saudi jets.
