South African police find tenth woman's body in Thembisa near Johannesburg

Police found a woman's body in Thembisa, Ekurhuleni, on Saturday morning, bringing the number of female bodies found near Johannesburg since mid-July to ten. Provincial police chief Tommy Mthombeni said the victim appeared to have been stoned to death and a post-mortem will determine the cause. Officers are investigating whether the deaths are connected amid community fears of the same killer or killers. President Cyril Ramaphosa commented on the discovery while campaigning for local elections, broadcaster eNCA reported.
