Pennsylvania measles outbreak spreads with 55 new cases since Wednesday

Pennsylvania’s health department said Friday that 55 new measles cases were reported since Wednesday. The state has confirmed 890 cases in 39 counties this year, with 173 hospitalizations and four deaths. Fewer than 1% of cases were in vaccinated people; 31% were under 18. Health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr. has suggested those deaths may have been fabricated.
