IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva urged heavily indebted major economies to adopt credible fiscal consolidation plans as rising bond yields drive borrowing costs to multi-decade highs. She said global debt-to-GDP is at its highest since the Second World War and could reach 100% in the coming years.
