Tour de France Femmes champion Demi Vollering won the women's UCI road world title in Montreal, the longest edition on record, beating Poland's Kasia Niewiadoma in an uphill sprint with under 200 metres left after a race over multiple climbs. The Dutch rider had attacked with 40 kilometres to go and
