Chemistry Nobel awarded for solving the mystery of life’s asymmetry
French scientist Henri B. Kagan and Japan’s Kenso Soai won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for explaining why life uses only one of the two mirror-image forms of chiral molecules, including the amino acids that form proteins.
