An RAF Hawk T2 on a training flight from RAF Valley crashed and exploded near Pencarnisiog, Anglesey, on Wednesday moments after both pilots ejected; they parachuted with minor injuries. Witnesses said the aircraft was on fire on takeoff. North Wales fire crews brought the blaze under control, and a
