AMD has agreed to acquire San Francisco-based AI startup World Labs for approximately $8.2 billion in an all-stock transaction. The acquisition, AMD's second-largest purchase on record, aims to integrate World Labs' world model technology for simulating 3D environments and physical AI applications.
