The Joint List will recommend Gadi Eisenkot to President Isaac Herzog after Arab-led parties won a record 19 of 120 Knesset seats. With the alliance’s 11 lawmakers and Ra’am’s eight, Eisenkot is expected to secure 67 endorsements, above the 61-seat majority threshold.
