Margaret Hamilton, who led development of NASA’s onboard flight software for the Apollo program and coined the term “software engineering,” has died aged 90. Her code helped save the Apollo 11 Moon landing. She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016 and founded two software companies.
