Hackers stole $6.3 billion from Binance users in what is described as the largest cryptocurrency heist on record, with analysts blaming North Korea. Binance executives are trying to recover the funds. The loss exceeds the previous record of $1.5 billion taken from exchange Bybit in February 2025.
