Novartis will pay Abogen Biosciences $575 million upfront and up to $7.2 billion in milestones for global rights to an early-stage mRNA autoimmune therapy. The deal follows Novo’s agreement worth up to $2.6 billion with Hengrui Pharma for a weekly GLP-1/GIP pill.
