Typhoon Champi killed one person, injured at least 350 and forced more than 4,300 evacuations in Taiwan on Friday. Thousands lost power, while up to 900mm of rain was forecast through Saturday. The storm, now heading towards China and Japan, caused hundreds of flight cancellations.
