Qatar, India, South Africa, Germany, Hungary, Turkiye and South Korea are seeking to host the 2036 Summer Olympics. Other countries have until October 31 to express interest, and the IOC Executive Board will draw up a shortlist in March 2027 based on funding and political and public support.
