Researchers from Sorbonne Université and France’s National Center for Scientific Research discovered an invisible mineral coating that helped preserve the 37,000-year-old Paleolithic paintings in France’s Chauvet Cave. Using a novel non-destructive technique, scientists analyzed the cave walls, whic
